In January 2011, I created "Slightly Chilled" as a blog focused on the Fargo Force junior hockey team.  Within a couple of months, I expanded the blog’s content to include news, features and analysis also on Minnesota high school hockey players and other players/teams within the United States Hockey League.

This platform led “Slightly Chilled” to become a successful brand with a continually growing audience in the youth hockey community.  The site received more than 296,000 hits in the 19 months it was active.

In 2012, the site averaged 28,800 hits each month -- making it the most-read staff blog at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead before it was discontinued in late July that year.  [An archive version is accessible here.]

"The Morning Show" with Dick Fain on Seattle’s Sports Radio 950 KJR (KJR 950-FM  |  Seattle, Wash.  |  Dec. 20, 2017)  —  Guest-cohosting the morning show and talking UW recruits on the early signing day.     [Segment begins at 2:15 mark]
