sports journalist

I was the lead beat writer at from July 2015 until October 2017.

The website is a part of the Yahoo!/Rivals network and it is the most extensive site that covers Florida State's football, basketball and baseball teams. My duties entailed filing daily practice reports, serving a guest on our radio show/podcast 'Wake Up Warchant' at least twice a week, writing both day-to-day stories and in-depth features while covering games. This led me to being a frequent guest on national radio programs on Yahoo! and NBCSports Radio in addition to regional markets such as Jacksonville, Miami, Louisville, Nashville and Orlando.

Because Warchant is fully digital, my responsibilities were different compared to when I was at a newspaper. I assisted with curating our website to make sure stories were posted and the site was constantly updated. I also monitored our message boards and interacted with our subscribers on a daily basis.
